Director Statement:

My feature "Berlin" is inspired, in part, by conversations with Andre Gregory, who starred in "My Dinner With Andre". In that film, on the surface, nothing momentous happens, but as we witness a dinner conversation between two dear, dissimilar friends, we grow close to them - and we experience their fundamental human search for meaning.

I wrote Berlin with the intention of making a small film, with few locations, in which two people take an unexpected and momentous journey through their fears, desires, and personal truths - in an emotionally resonant way.

We filmed entirely on location in Berlin, Germany with a largely female crew. Women helmed "Berlin" in all major crew roles, including Producer, Writer/Director, Cinematographer, Art Director, Casting Director, Assistant Director and Editor. We have just completed post-production.
