Description:
Former priest Charlie Hardy runs a quixotic campaign for the US Senate in the Wild West state of Wyoming, challenging an 18-year incumbent with a $3 million-dollar war chest. Without money or experience, Charlie rejects donations from special interests, inspiring a group of young volunteers.

As Election Day approaches, they struggle to reconcile the hopeful bubble of the campaign with the country’s harsh political reality. Charlie vs Goliath explores the questions of how an honest and sincere person can make a difference running for higher office, and more broadly, whether, in the spirit of Don Quixote, it is worth fighting an unbeatable foe and dreaming an impossible dream.
